Academic Development | fourth year Blackboard registration
In second year, you will automatically be added to a Commerce Students organization on Blackboard. This is one of our primary avenues for sending e-mails and posting materials on topics such as job openings, employer information sessions, case competitions and many other items that will be of interest to you. Please develop the habit of checking your Blackboard group regularly for updates.
Special Note: Make sure to also check your utoronto e-mail account on a regular basis. E-mails forwarded to other providers such as hotmail or gmail may not reach you. CAG Membership

The Robert Gillespie Academic Skills Centre is located on the 2nd floor of the Library and offers individual appointments, in-class support, and facilitated study groups for students from all years of study. The best way to get started in your first year of study may be to make an appointment for an individual consultation to understand your learning style and strategize to make it work for you.
The Academic Skills Centre partners with various faculty members, check your UofT portal for information on workshops, learning strategists, students facilitators and mentors all of which are available to support you academically. Finally, facilitated study groups provide the opportunity to study course-specific material in a focused manner supported by a Facilitator who will help you structure and prioritize your study routines. Research shows Facilitated Study Groups to be beneficial in helping students learn efficient, effective academic skills. Overview by year:(click here to view)
